Antique Peridot and Pearl flower pendant, 9k yellow gold, Edwardian
About the Item
This beautiful antique peridot and pearl floral pendant is so pretty and elegant.
It is a flower almost sunflower shaped piece with an openwork design with a quad of textured leaves within each set with a single creamy seed pearl.
To the centre there is a single round cut Peridot in a lovely vibrant green, Peridot is the birthstone for August, it is said to promote prosperity and growth and is the only gemstone to be found in one colour.
The pendant is made from rich 9ct yellow gold and has an integral bale ready to hang from your favourite necklace.
Such a wonderfully designed and uplifting piece, it would make a lovely gift.
Marks and era:
Edwardian era, c1900s, marked 9ct to the reverse along with S Bros for the maker.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age.
