Antique Victorian 1890s 14K Gold Tassel Pendant
About the Item
An antique Victorian 1890's tassel charm pendant made in 14 karat yellow gold. On top, the pendant is detailed with an Arabic dome decor and the eight Venetian tassel chains below are each hung on gold rings. The end caps of the tassels are set with a small sphere cap.
In the Victorian era - 1837-1901 - jewelry with tassels spanned the entire 19th century. Earrings, pendant and brooches with fringes and tassels were extremely popular in the 1870s in England.
The pendant is in very good condition and measures 3.0 centimeters, width 0.7 centimeters and weighs 1.59 grams. Hallmarks are present and visible on the bail. The pendant comes without the chain.
