Victorian 14k Gold Autumn Leaf Pendant
About the Item
This elegant 14k gold leaf pendant features intricate hand done stippling work and lifelike detail. It has a very pretty wash on the gold, stippled with silver, yellow, and rose gold. Four different hues can be seen in the gold, giving the effect that the autumn leaf is changing color along with the season. Converted from a Victorian stickpin, the leaf has incredible workmanship and timeless beauty.
Part of Kirsten’s Corner Signature Collection, we removed the stick and added a 14k gold bail so the leaf could be worn as a pendant. The leaf tests as 14k gold. The branch that the leaf is wrapped around (originally the pin) does not test as gold; it is common for the pin element in Victorian stick pins to be made of a less precious metal. The pendant weighs 1.29 grams. It is 1 1/4”, not including the bail which measures as 4x6 mm.
