About the Item
THIS IS A STUNNING ORIGINAL ART DECO CARNELIAN MARCASITE NECKLACE OF THE FINEST QUALITY. THE NECKLACE IS SET WITH THREE OVAL AND SQUARE CUT GORGEOUS VIVID CARNELIAN STONES SET IN STERLING SILVER WITH MARCASITES IN THIS CLASSIC ART DECO JEWEL.
It is a masterpiece of design and construction. The carnelian gems are gorgeous and the silver links of great beauty. We have left the original patina intact and you may polish it if you prefer. The Necklace dates to circa 1920.
Necklace: 23 inches long. The chain at the ends may be a later extension.
The center carnelian is 30mm by 21mm.
