About the Item
A marvelous locket from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! This stunning piece is crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold and is circular in shape. The frontside of the locket is marked with a three-dimensional monogram which appears to read: "NHSC". The backside of the locket is smooth and simple. The piece opens and closes with a discreet latch, and the interior of the locket features two compartments to store precious photographs or mementos. The top of the locket features a ribbed-arch design, which connects to a complimentary bail. A highly unique and sentimental piece, this locket would look lovely worn on any gold chain!
Measurements: The locket has a diameter of 1 1/4" and a height of 1 1/2" (including the bail).
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no damage to the gold setting. The piece opens and closes easily, and the bail at the top of the piece is secure and in working order.
