Art Nouveau Enamel Iris Pendant of 14k Gold
About the Item
Antique Iris Pendant: This Art Nouveau era 14k gold pendant features an iris flower adorned with lustrous green and red enamel and three diamond accents. A baroque pearl dangles beneath the piece. The pendant was originally an antique brooch (circa 1880-1900) that our jeweler transformed by removing the pin findings and adding a bail.
The piece measures 1.65 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 1.15 inches wide and weighs 5.15 grams. It is in good condition with some loss to the enamel visible upon close inspection.
The gold content has been professionally verified using both X-ray fluorescence (XRR) analysis and traditional jeweler's acid testing, ensuring its authenticity.
