About the Item
We pay tribute to our mother country by featuring our designer piece, The Best of Both Worlds.
Combining our traditional Antiguan Caribbeads with African glass beads, we honor our roots in this elegant necklace. The gentle swirling greens and reds of the glass bead are set as the centerpiece of our wild tamarind and jumbie bead seed pendant with another African bead set at the neckline.
Botanique is Deeper than Seeds, and our mission is to empower the wise women of Antigua and Barbuda and our sisters in Africa one seed, one bead at a time. Botanique honors the intangible cultural history unique to the island nation and uses today’s craftswomen to create contemporary forms of wearable art based on a rich cultural tradition.
Each beautifully hand crafted Botanique Best of Both Worlds necklace is approximately 18 inches in length with a pendant which has a diameter of approximately 2 inches.
