About the Item
Dramatic necklace in high Art Deco style. In fact many of the elements in the piece were from a partially destroyed period piece including the celadon jade elements. The colored coral was original as well. I took some liberties in what were the remnants of the original by adding emerald carved turban beads and the black onyx open rings which are frequently in Deco jewels.
I added the tassel as I felt that after completing the necklace there was something missing. The shaded emerald beads together with onyx tubes and small coral beads accented with 14kt gold rondelles and tassel cap tie everything together in a very elegant fashion. The necklace is secured by a black onyx toggle clasp.
