THIS IS A MAGNIFICENT AND RARE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CARVED CITRINE FOB PENDANT WITH AN IMAGE OF A BIRD CARRYING A MAIL ENVELOPE AND THE MOTTO "DEPECHE VOUS" OR "HURRY UP" IN FRENCH. THE FOB IS A GORGEOUS REPOUSSE FOB IN 10 KARAT GOLD WITH STUNNING REPOUSSE DETAILS. How wonderful to find this charming wax seal fob with a gorgeous carved Citrine gem with the image of the bird carrying a mail envelope and the perfect phrase of Hurry Up or Hasten in French. How delightful to have used this on your envelopes! The fob itself is gorgeous and the gold work exquisite. The image of the bird and envelope and the engraved motto are stunning. THE JEWEL DATING TO THE VICTORIAN PERIOD, CIRCA 1850-1890.
