About the Item
A carved wood, diamond and 18 karat white and yellow gold necklace. Stamped with a maker's mark, German hallmarks. (we are still researching and have not yet identified the maker) and 750. The round brilliant diamond weight is approximately 5 carats. The necklace is 18" in length while the pendant alone measures 2.75" x 1.45".
This stunning necklace is designed using carved wood and diamonds. Utterly modern and luxurious, the necklace is positively effervescent, celebrating the artist's choice and combination of materials, over what would have been predictable, i.e. setting diamonds in a noble metal. This earthy and refined necklace is dramatic in scale, innovativeness, and character.
