Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond Platinum Necklace
About the Item
This one is for the true vintage jewelry connoisseur who appreciates the story as much as the piece. This stunning necklace came in as part of a six-piece estate that escaped the Nazi invasion of Vienna, Austria in 1938. We'd be happy to share more of the story with anyone who has legitimate purchasing interest. If you are interested in the other five pieces as well, we'll offer a 10% discount. This platinum Edwardian 2.78ctw sapphire and 4.87ctw diamond necklace is unique, elaborate, elegant and a true statement piece. The whole necklace is original except the light yellow sapphire at the top in the center. We replaced a fractured citrine in the piece with a sapphire that screams champagne diamond to the naked eye. Below that yellow sapphire is a cushion cut deep teal blue sapphire dangling in the center. The diamonds in this piece are as unique as the piece itself. There's a combination of old mine, old Euro, Swiss step cut, old single cut and old rose cut diamonds. The pendant is 46.58L x 45.20W x 3.56D in millimeters. The chain measures 21 inches and is also solid platinum.
