This Fig Garden drop pendant necklace features a cabochon rose quartz set in 18 karat rose gold. The gem is intentionally left open to allow light to pass through, enhancing its beauty. This collection has been featured in Vogue UA.
The idea for the collection came to the artist, Polya Medvedeva, while she was inspired by the fragrances of fig with their sweet and fresh notes. The collection serves as a mascot for anyone who loves fragrances or sunny places where figs grow. The design of this shining gold fig makes the pendant a contemporary jewellery piece, while the simplicity of the lines and the big dark gem lend it a slightly grungy vibe.
Figs have a rich history in myths and culture. They are often seen as the equivalent of the bible's forbidden apples, and the fig leaves were the only clothes for the first humans in the Garden of Eden. Figs are considered sacred trees in many ancient myths and symbolize peace, fertility, generosity, and the richness of life.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
