About the Item
This Fig Garden necklace pendant with the cabochon garnet is made of 18 karat yellow gold. This collection was featured in Vogue UA. It is limited edition collection of jewellery by artist, with the unusual design and the gem open for the light.
The idea to create fig as a jewellery collection came to the oil painter from Berlin, Polya Medvedeva, while she was reviewing the fragrances with the warm, sweet and fresh notes of fig. The collection become the mascot for everyone, who adores fig fruit or the scent of it. This is a contemporary jewellery piece, it looks classy and elegant. The pendant fits to the day time or the night out.
Fig is an equivalent of the bible forbidden apples, the fig leaves were the only clothes for the first humans in the garden of paradise. Fig is one of the sacred trees in the ancient myths.

Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
