Elaborate Peridot, Emerald & Diamond Gold Pendant Contemporary Necklace & Brooch
About the Item
Fine natural Peridot, Emerald and Diamond contemporary necklace. The pendant portion of the necklace can be removed and worn separately as a brooch. Totally the necklace has approximately 90 cts. of fine well matched bright lime green peridot. The pendant also possesses 3 round vivid green cabochon cut emeralds weighing approximately .30 cts. Accenting these emeralds and fancy cut peridot are approximately 56 round brilliant cut white diamonds weighing 1.18 cts.
The pendant goes gracefully with the necklace and the two pieces go extremely well together even though the necklace is 14K and the pendant/brooch is 18K. The necklace has 35 oval natural peridot all well matched and set within an elaborate rope gold frame. The peridot graduate to a smaller size as it goes behind the neck. These stones in the back have a simpler frame. Finally, the necklace is finished with a ball clasp. This ball clasp is marked 14K. Both the necklace and the pendant have been acid tested to confirm their gold content.
The pendant has 4 fancy cut peridot in the center element and 7 briolette cut peridot suspended at the bottom of the pendant. The pendant has an unusual cut out design in the front which is then backed with polished yellow gold. When the light changes, this yellow gold polished back has a mirror like finish, changing color when the light changes turning it from gold to black to a reflection of white light.
