About the Item

Pendant in 18 Karat rose gold, eagle head hallmark and silver. This sumptuous antique pendant features an openwork design of vegetal garlands, drapery and bows, set with rose-cut diamonds and a larger cushion-cut diamond at the bottom. Numerous supposedly fine pearls also adorn this antique jewel. The bezel is removable, allowing a chain to be passed through the bow loops. Diameter of highest pearl : 4.5/5 mm approximately. Diameter of central pearl : 5/5.5 mm approximately. Diameter of tassel pearl : 5.5/6 mm approximately. Diameter of the other 4 pearls : 3.5/4 mm approximately. Height : 8.5 cm approximately, width : 3.3 cm approximately, thickness : 11.5 mm approximately. Total weight : 22.1 g approximately. Authentic antique jewelry - French work from the second half of the 19th century. Our opinion : This antique diamond and pearl pendant was part of a much more complete piece of antique jewelry. On the back of the jewel, there is a screw thread and hinges that enabled this motif to be attached, probably to a hatpin or brooch system.
