About the Item

Pendant in 18 karat rose gold, eagle's head hallmark. Probably the transformation of an antique earring, this pendant features a gold circle topped by a knotted ribbon, which holds an oval-shaped openwork motif that also ends in a knotted ribbon. A gold cord is applied all around, along with several fasteners adorned with a fine half-pearl. In the center, a mother-of-pearl tassel features a miniature of a small putti. A large ring allows a chain or cord to be passed through. Height : 5,2 cm approximately, Width : 2 cm approximately, Thickness : 4 mm approximately. Total weight of the jewel : 5,2 g approximately. Pendant sold alone, without its presentation chain. Antique jewel - French work from the second half of the 19th century. Later pendant mounting.
