This is a convertible pendant brooch carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and accented with applications of black enamel. Embelished with fine selection of gemstones such Dutch rose cuts diamonds and a Colombian emerald. It is fitted at the reverse with a hinged pin bar with a security hook to wear as a brooch. This piece can be also wear as a pendant. It should be noted that the emerald and diamonds used in this piece are of exceptional quality. Seeing a piece from this period with an emerald of this quality is very rare and difficult. Usually these pieces with that kind of precious stones were disassembled during the later Victorian period to create new pieces. This is a great brooch of great rarity, with an excellent craftsmanship and surely a collector's item.
