About the Item

A fluted pendant with diamonds designed by Kutchinsky. Beautiful modernism pendant, created in London England by the iconic jewelry house of Kutchinsky, back in the 1970. The pendant is composed by three movable interlocking circles crafted with scalloped fluted patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with central elements made up in platinum .900/.999 for the setting of the diamonds. All surfaces are finished with high polish and fitted on top with a bale to wear in a chain or necklace. The ribbed texture of the gold adds an extra dimension that makes this pendant stand out. Diamonds: The platinum parts are mount with a pave setting of 47 round brilliant cut diamonds, with a combined weight of 5.17 carats, white color less D/E color, VVS-1 Clarity. Weight: 40.95 Grams, (26.25 Dwt). Measurements: 70 mm by 30 mm (2.75 x 1.18 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks in several cartouches; the Lion head mark for the city of London, the maker's mark K, the gold assay mark, the letter P for the production year of 1970 and signed, "KUTCHINSKY .750 P.". Kutchinsky, was a jewelry company founded in the 1890 and was always based in London, United Kingdom. They has been very well know jewelry makers, with attention to fine quality, craft and well-made designed pieces, This piece was made in the beginning of the 1970's when the company was more focused on larger pieces right in step with the style of the seventies.
