MAGGOOSH BY MARGARITA CHRISSAKI I was Born in Greece in 1992, since a very young age I developed a dream to design jewelry. My first experience as a young child was with coloured beads and string from which I managed to create bracelets that I sold on beaches in the Greek islands. Since then, I spent time making and designing jewelry, which has been inspired by my travels to India, Japan, the Maldives, Egypt and Korea together with other beautiful places. In 2016 I graduated from the Gemological Instutute of America in New York (GIA) studying Jewelry Design and Technology, a course that focused on 3D design and 3D printing of jewelry. Launched in 2012, Maggoosh, a name my friends called me, immediately attracted numerous clients who recognized a uniqueness and freshness of the designs. Maggoosh jewelry aims at complimenting and complementing those connoisseurs of style with a strong personality, a passion for the exotic and a thirst for self-expression. Through the use of quality materials fashioned into forms that embrace and carress, my designs have been designed to define and to be defined by the wearer, creating a unique combination. I have a multidimensional identity that has been molded through breakdancing in world championships, designing innovative jewelry, owning my own company and studying shipping. I have never been frightened to take up a new challenge, believing you should always strive for the freedom to be who you want to be.
