Steve Battelle Large Pearl 22K Gold Granulated Pendant
About the Item
A beautiful, irregular, approximately 25 x 50 mm white large freshwater pearl with lots of lustre is set within an artisinally crafted high-karat gold bezel decorated with fine "pasir" sandlike tiny granulation. This pendant shows equally well on both sides. The matching 18" 1.8 mm handwoven 22K chain shown with it is not included in the price, but can be added additionally. We also have that chain in 20" and 22". We discount our chains 20% when purchased with a pendant. A great contrast between the gleaming white of the pearl and the rich gold granulation. Someone will love this!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
