Steven Battelle 9.5 Carats Brazilian Emerald 18K Gold Pendant
About the Item
A substantial 14 x 22 mm slightly irregular rose cut Brazilian emerald rests in a complementary hand textured "line bezel" 18K gold setting with similarly textured bail above. We really like this organic type of setting for naturally shaped stones. A very large emerald for a very reasonable price! The handmade hammered chain shown with it is not included, but can be ordered additionally. It comes 18", 20" and 24" lengths. Nice!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
