About

This striking circular geometric pendant by Napier, from the late 1960s/early 1970s, in three different coloured metals, is stylish and very wearable, at all times of day and year. Made of chrome, gilt and 'brushed steel' circular pendants, one sitting on top of the other, with a gilt chain, it is highly retro but also highly contemporary for today's fashion.
The Napier Company started in 1875, as one of several companies producing personal and gift items, and named as Napier.co in 1922. During both First and Second Wars the factory was converted to produce war materials. It wasn’t until the 1950s that it really became one of the top manufacturers in costume jewellery, and carries on until this day. Its designs were always striking , clean lines and strong basic forms. In 1956 the then Miss America was photographed, along with her beauty case, which was overflowing with Napier jewellery!
