Turquoise Pendant by Albert Jake
About the Item
This fabulous hand-crafted sterling silver pendant by master Navajo artist Albert Jake. The incised setting is oxidized in the channel to show detail. The ribbed bale echoes the design of the pendant. The 1 ¼” x 2 ½” pendant is set with lovely high quality turquoise stones Royston & Blue Ridge. The total length with the ¾” circumference bale is 3 3/8”.
Albert Jake was born in 1959 in Zuni Pueblo. He learned the art of silversmithing from his parents and has been an active silversmith since 1987. He is known for his traditional Navajo jewelry with intricate stamp-work and high-quality set stones.
