About the Item
A darling key charm from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 10k yellow gold, this dainty charm resembles a small key. The top of the key is decorated with alternating sapphire and seed pearls, and all of the stones are held within small bead settings. The bottom of the key also features an additional small seed pearl, which is nestled between two sapphires. The sapphires display a lovely cornflower blue hue, and the pearls have a magnificent luster. The body of the key also features intricate etchings, which further add to the unique nature of the charm. The back of the charm is marked with a "10k" purity mark, and the piece features a complementary bail. A terrific piece, this charm would look lovely worn on a favorite chain or added to a charm bracelet!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 3/8" long (including the bail at the top), and measures a little less than 1/4" at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. There is no damage to the gold setting, and all of the sapphires and pearls are secure and intact. The complementary bail is securely attached and in working order.
