About the Item
This eye catching pendant dates back to the Victorian period. The large cross motif is adorned by 20.80 carat of beautiful purple amethysts. The centre oval stone weighs 2.80 carat with four larger 3.50 carat ovals sat at each of the cardinal points. set around these primary stones an additional four round and four pear cut stones weighing 0.50 carat apiece complete the display. Crafted in 15 carat yellow gold, the pendant houses each amethyst in a rub over setting with intricate hand crafted filigree work surrounding. This is a truly one off piece.
