Victorian 2.40 Carat Amethyst and Pearl Yellow Gold Pendant
About the Item
An impressive antique Victorian 2.40 carat amethyst and seed pearl, 9 karat yellow gold pendant and chain; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive Victorian amethyst pendant has been crafted in 9k yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, geometric design is ornamented with a central collet set square step cut amethyst.
The scalloped edged frame that surrounds the amethyst is ornamented with six evenly spaced seed pearls, displayed within millegrain decorated collet settings.
A single collet set pear cut amethyst articulates from the lower border of the design.
The pendant suspends from a 18.5" 9k yellow gold curb chain via a ring loop attachment to the apex of two shorter curb chains, to the upper border of the design.
The chain secures with a rectangular push fit clasp, hallmarked with the mark for 9k gold (9C).
The pendant is hallmarked to the ring loop attachment with the mark for 9k gold (9CT).
This antique Victorian pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This impressive antique Victorian pendant is fine quality set with seed pearls and impressive amethysts. The pendant and chain are a very good gauge of gold and are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks.
