Victorian Style Turquoise and Diamond 18 Karat Gold Egg Pendant

About the Item

Winning its way into our hearts is this remarkably charming turquoise and diamond 18K yellow gold egg pendant. A refreshingly coloured blue egg of turquoise sits in a rich cage of 18K yellow gold. The top loop of the pendant is embellished with three bright and lively round diamonds. The central diamond is larger which provides another flourish of style. The four sides of the cage holding the egg are enhanced with further round cut diamond held within a rhombus shape. These sit around the widest part of the pendant and help to enhance the delightful form. The diamonds catch the light, and really bring the pendant to life. The gold has a wonderful texture to it, like the bark of a tree providing a wonderful natural look to this pendant, and gives another texture to admire. Making the pendant even more unique are three chains which are held on separate loops at the top of the pendant. Each chain hangs at a different length, and can move separately from the others. At the end of each chain is another rhombus of gold holding a single round diamond, these fall effortlessly down the pendant like morning dew. Because of each chain’s ability to move and sway freely, they dance around the pendant and give a really individual and graceful style. The contrast of colour between the bright and lively diamonds, alluring rich gold and the sky blue colour of the turquoise are like aspects of a beautiful summers day wrapped into a a piece of jewellery.
