On offer is this gorgeous 14CT GOLD FILLED FLORAL ROSES AND BIRDS PHOTO LOCKET DETAILS Material: Thick 14ct Filled Gold (see details below) Style: Lovely decorated opening locket with roses and birds with rose, green and white gold detailing. Age: Vintage mid 1900s (c1950s) Condition: Excellent, opens and closes with nice snap. Fastening: Fixed bale / loop. Hallmark: 14kt GF, maker PPO This is NOT solid gold (hence price). 14ct Filled Gold is an antique technique where solid gold is fused onto a base metal. Assay standards state that to call an item as such there is a minimum of solid gold that must be used in production.
