His career in the art world began as a painter, although today he is better known as a representative of the Noucentisme movement within the field of ceramics.
As for technique, he first worked with enameled earthenware, making stoneware after his time in Sèvres and finally porcelain, also practicing metallic reflections. His style, sometimes inspired by the Italian Renaissance and the ceramics of Urbino, has a tendency towards baroqueism and opulent forms, full of sensuality, creating a world of satyrs, fauns, putti and other mythological beings surrounded by exuberant vegetation, all this within the Catalan current known as Noucentisme.
