Excepional patinated bronze inkstand in the shape of a cascet on a pedestal with a drawer. It has exquisitely cast ormolu applications depicting lovers symbolic within a wreth, i.e. torches, doves, arrows in their quiver, but also flowers, leaves and ribbons.
This extraordinary well made and rare Objet d ' Art is the work of a French master bronze caster.
