About the Item
A fine antique gilt silver snuff box.
With engraved decorations to the top & monograms to both the top & bottom.
Struck with what appears to be a 'BT' partial touch marks for Benjamin Tappin of Boston.
Simply a wonderful coin silver snuff box!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is some minor rubbing to the gilding on the top of the box, and some residue to the interior of the lid. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
Hallmarked:
Engraved with owner's monograms 'HA' to the top and 'MH' to the bottom.

Marked to the inside of the box with what appears to be a Benjamin Tappin's 'BT' touch mark.
