About the Item

Early XX century Art Nouveau Russian Silver box with fine floral hand-engraved decor and two-letters monogram on the lid. Rectangular form with rounded corners, hallmarked with Russian 84 zolotniks silver mark, maker marks BA / Василий Агафонов / Vasiliy Agofonov, Moscow. Assayer Ivan Lebedkin, Moscow 1899 - 1914. The box is 7.3 cm x 5.8 cm x 1.9 cm thick. Weight: 78 grams Used condition, minor dents, and scratches, likely professional and perfect repair on the tongue of the lock. The box gets closed tightly with a click and opens smoothly if the button is pressed.
