About the Item
Antique Waterman's Ideal 14K, 585, gold fountain pen made at the beginning of the 20th century, c. 1915. This fountain pen is in fine condition and probably never used. It comes with the original nib, the original papers which were in their original sleeve recently found under the velvet in the box. This pen is marked in several places 14k - which is the equivalence of 585 percentage of gold. The dib is number 4, which is a rare nib size. It has a lever filing system. The pen is marked in several places Waterman's and also Made in the USA. The pen is 7 inches long. See the various sizes photographed with a ruler both with the pen ready to be used, and also closed with it's cap on.
This pen has classic floral design which is engraved.
All items sold are accompanied by all original gemological documentation, if specified in the listing. We also enclosed a detailed description with photographs.
