About the Item
This magnificent mid-century ornate clutch bag clasp frame is beautifully made. The brass clasp frame is decorated with blue and turquoise enamel set with stones and pearls. In the center, the frame has an oval-shaped cameo of a female silhouette, with a dangling drop pendant below. The other sided of the clasp is embellished with an openwork filigree 'beehive' on top, like a crown and decorated with blue and turquoise enamel. The enameled colors look stunning with the brass hue. The purse clasp comes with an attached chain strap.
The purse frame is in very good condition. It measures 18 centimeters in length and 7.5 centimeters in height (without the 'beehive'). The 'beehive' on top of the frame measures 16 millimeters in height. The clutch frame has a nice heavy weight of 100 grams.
