About the Item

This diamond and white sapphire bridal tiara was hand-crafted by a skilled artisan in India from gold-over-silver (vermeil). This gorgeous, elegant tiara is perfectly proportioned and speaks of grace and sophistication, not pompacity. One need not be a Duchess or a Princess to wear a bridal tiara; one only must desire to feel like one. This 7.5 inch long, 1" wide tiara is set with dozens of raw, sparkling earth-mined diamonds. No, these are not Golconda Type IIA diamonds; they are tiny, uncut, raw diamonds that nonetheless sparkle and add a level of refinement crystal or paste could never match. The large white stone in the front of the jewel is a slice of white sapphire. Tiaras have been worn at weddings for centuries, with their use evolving from ancient symbols of status and religious significance to the fashionable accessories we recognize today. While the specific design and prevalence of tiaras have varied over time, their association with weddings, particularly among royalty and nobility, has been a consistent theme throughout history. The tiara can be worn with any hairstyle because it does not require combs to stay in place. Rather, you attach a ribbon through the eyelets at the back of the headpiece. Of, simply use the included fastener you see in the photographs. This stunning, sleek, elegant and timeless tiara will make somebody's unforgettable day even more memorable.

Sapphire 4.04 Carat AGL Certified No-Heat Madagascar Origin, Eye-Clean, Mounted
Located in Southbury, CT
A cushion-shaped, mixed-cut, eye-clean 4.04 unheated royal blue sapphire from Madagascar is the discussion here. The included AGL "Prestige Gemstone Report" concludes that the sapphire has an origin of Madagascar, no "clarity enhancement," and no indications of heating. For many, this Royal blue is the ideal tone for a sapphire. It is the same regal blue seen on the finger of the Princess of Wales. Unheated sapphires with an interior as clean as this stone, and with such a fine, even tone are exceedingly rare and highly valuable. As I write these words in the early days of 2024, A heated sapphire of 4.09 carats with a Sri Lanka origin is currently being offered for sale at a natural sapphire company...
