About the Item
This beautiful set of three ornamental gold egg boxes are truly novel and symbolise good fortune, prosperity and love.
Each egg was fine crafted in 18K gold with screw fittings in the mid 20th century. They are set with a central line of white brilliant-cut diamonds, vivid green calibre-cut emeralds and fine red circular-cut rubies.
Each have London hallmarks, 18K and 'AP' maker's marks.
The total weight of all three egg is 155g and they each are approximately 5.0cm long and 3.3cm in diameter making them special in size and a unique collectors item.
