Dunhill for Gorham Art Deco Enamel Vanity Set, Circa 1920
About the Item
Comprising a lipstick and powder compact with integrated mirror, timepiece and a matching table lighter, each finely crafted in 14 karat gold and embellished with panels of vibrant blue-green enamel in a marbled finish, bordered with white enamel accents. The compact fitted with a rectangular dial featuring stylised Arabic numerals, evoking the elegance and geometry of the Art Deco period.
Both pieces signed, the lighter by Dunhill and the vanity case dial by Black Starr & Frost Gorham Inc. Made in America, circa 1920.
