Vintage 14K Solid Gold Sleeved Cartier Les Must lighter This absolute masterpiece of a lighter is a 14-karat solid gold-sleeved Cartier Les must lighter. Fully functional, sparks excellent, and does not leak. The lighter is in a rare complete lot, including its original box which is in great condition, the stamped guarantee, instruction manual (black booklet), and servicing clip. An absolutely magnificent and rare set to be seen in this condition! This lighter weighs in at 96 grams (compared to 70-85 grams for a standard Cartier lighter), meaning there is at least 10 grams of pure gold. This lighter has been customized with a handmade solid 14-karat gold sleeving by an Italian goldsmith back in the day. The outer jacket is made by weaving thin gold pieces around the lighter. It has its imperfections as can be seen, which really shows this lighter was previously very loved. The bottom has a 750 gold mark stamp as can be seen on the bottom of the jacket. Only the bottom is 18k gold because after some tests the weaving of the body came out at 14k gold. The lighter has been professionally cleaned and freshly polished to be in the exceptional condition it is in now.
