About the Item
This is a stunning 1930's Art Deco Marathon gold and enamel cigarette case lighter in great working condition, and comes in the original pouch and box.
Red rich velvet interior with cream satin trimmings and chocolate lather on the outside.
The piece is in mint condition. It is hallmarked "Marathon USA"; and has a blank diamond shaped cartouche on the lid for engraving.
The case measures approximately 6 1/4 inches in height by a bit over 3 1/2 inches across.
These cases were meant for unfiltered cigarettes of the day.
All hinges and the closure work as they should.
