Mid Century Vintage Gold and Enamel Floral Spray Ring

About the Item

A romantic spray of roses and buds painted with enamel speaks to you on its 14 karat gold band.. The border of the enamel face is engraved with repousse, raised flowers and leaves. The ring surprised me as I thought it was Victorian when I viewed it. It is Mid Century, c. 1950's. It is a beautiful and individual ring, one that I have not seen before. Decorative and beautiful, carefully made, it is a piece of jewelry for any age and any reason. You create the reason and the mood. Perfect condition. Size 5 1/4 It can be sized. Weight 23.9 grams Height 1/2 inch

  • Victorian 18 Karat Gold and Enamel Mizpah Ring
    Located in Stamford, CT
In striking contrast, this Mizpah ring was created c. 1870 in 18 Kt gold. In striking contrast with no wear, the word Mispah is raised in gold letters on a darker gold background. The borders are scalloped. A gold daisy is at the middle of the word. Mizpah is from the Hebrew bible meaning watchtower. The loose translation is May God Watch over you while we are apart. The word connotes a deep emotional relationship between two people. The added sentiment of the daisy is "think of me" which all Victorians recognized from the language of flowers. A beautiful ring of sentient and dedication. A perfect wedding band...
