Victorian 18ct Gold Engraved Memorial Ring, 1893

A Victorian 18ct yellow gold engraved Memorial ring. The ring is engraved with a foliate decoration to the exterior, and is inscribed to the interior 'Ellen Tuson, died March 13th 1894 Aged 75'. The ring is hallmarked with Birmingham marks, '18' for 18 carat gold, and date letter 't' to denote 1893. Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct). Period: - Late 19th Century. Date: - 1893. Maker: - Deakin & Francis Ltd. Measurement: - UK ring size M 1/2 (leading edge). US ring size 6 1/2 (leading edge). The band measures approximately 8.0mm wide. Weight: - 5.9 grams.
