Ouch, you feel the fire of this five stone 18 Kt Victorian Fire Opal ring. It is as bright as lava freshly flowing from a volcano.There are tiny diamonds set between the opals. They give beautiful points of light. Fire opal is one of the rare species of opal. The gem color is natural, saturated, bright orange, a beautiful flaming shade. Made in c. 1870 the ring is hallmarked. Fire opal represents affairs of the heart. It is symbolic of the passion for life in all one undertakes, romance, work, hobbies and life as a whole. Note the beautiful scrolling of the setting. A scarce color ring that can be a wedding ring, a promise ring, a fashion ring and a stacking ring. Perfect condition. 4.7 grams Size Size 7 1/4
