About the Item

Ring in solid 18K Orange tinted Gold with top of the crown in Platinum decorated with three natural Blue Sapphires and 14 Diamonds. Swedish hallmarks, 18K , date combination K9 made in 1960. The crown with stones measures 12 mm x 12mm at widest x 6.5 mm deep. Largest Sapphire of medium Blue color in the center Ø 5 mm x 3.25 mm deep / ca. 0.7 ct ; two other sapphires Ø 4 mm x 2.5 mm deep / ca. 0.4 ct each ,total weight ca. 1.5ctw. All three of old European diamond cut with inclusions and color banding visible under magnification. All diamonds of old European diamond cut. Largest Diamond Ø 4.5 mm x 2.75 mm deep / ca.0.4ct , second large is Ø 4mm x 2 mm deep /ca.0.3 ct , 12 diamonds of smaller sizes with total weight ca. 0.4 ctw. Total weight of Diamonds ca. 1.1 ctw . Color ca. F,G / VS Size Ø 5.75 US / 16.10 mm. Can be sized . Weight: 7.7 grams. Used fine condition. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post. Minor color deviations may be possible. CUSTOM WORK : About Resizing: Resizing of rings can be done on request.The work will be done by experienced professional jeweler. Note: I will not be responsible for any physical/color changes that may occur as a result of heating of the stones during the process of resizing. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose , if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
