About the Item
Ca. middle/late 18th. century ring, 14K Rose Gold band with a 'Giardinetto' (small garden) openwork crown with Silver and Yellow Gold top. Array of foiled back natural Emerald, natural Rubies, and Diamonds. No hallmarks, band tested solid 14K Gold.
Crown measures: 18 mm x 17 mm x 6 mm deep. Natural old cushion cut Emerald of vivid Green 6 x 5.5 mm /ca 1 ct, five old cushion and old oval cut Rubies ca.0.2 ct each. Five old cushion and mixed rose cut Diamonds ca. 3x 2.5mm /ca. 0.2ct each. Total weight of stones here > ca. 3ctw.
Size: Ø US 2.5 / 13.61 mm. Can be sized for additional. Weight: 4 grams.
Used fine Condition for age, as shown in the images. All stones original. Traces of possible old accurate repairs or reinforcements / solderings are visible on the backside. Minor wear to facets of Emerald and Rubies. Diamonds intact. Natural aged patina tarnish on Gold and Silver parts.
