About the Item
Diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, encircled by eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.75 carats, and further adorned by forty round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.55 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring millegrain borders, a pierced geometric gallery and fancy open backholing, the shoulders featuring ridge detail flow through to a solid shank. Tested platinum, french import mark, circa 1915.
The diamonds have been assessed by our in-house gemmologists, setting permitting, the centre stone is approximately I - J colour SI clarity.
