Mounted in platinum, handcrafted.
Rosette ring in platinum comprising an old-cut and brilliant-cut diamond flower, estimated weight approx. 4.45 carats.
1 central Old European cut diamond approx.. 0.40 surrounded by three cluster circles of bright sparkling white diamonds (from inside smallest to largest outside; total 48 diamonds). all of which are accentuated with fine millegraining. Expertly hand fabricated in platinum with rigorous attention paid to each and every detail,
Unmarked, tested as Platinum. Total weight: 11.64 g.

Millegraining is an extremely tiny beaded detail that finishes an edge on a piece of jewelry. The detail is applied usually on platinum. The millegrained edges on platinum can be on a fine wire, a knife edge wire, a bezel setting around a stone, an outline of a pattern or design detail, a channel edge, and as with the beads in gold, used to finish a design detail. The millegraining of the metal edges allows the diamonds and gemstones to sparkle without competing with the reflected light from a highly polished platinum edge
