Edwardian Moonstone and Diamond Ring, circa 1910s
About the Item
Extremely charming is this antique ring featuring a gorgeous moonstone weighing approximately 3.50 carat. The moonstone is cabochon cut and has been delicately rub over set with a fine milgrain edging. Surrounding is a beautiful platinum halo made of twenty rose cut diamonds which too have been rub over set with a milgrain edging. On each shoulder there are a further two diamonds, which combined with the halo add up to 0.24 carats. Beneath the platinum halo is a beautifully hand crafted gallery, created in 18ct yellow gold. Adding more character to this Edwardian ring is the double yellow gold band that leads from the head of the ring, joining together as it reaches the back.
