Victorian 0.90ct Pink Sapphire and Diamond Boat ring, c.1880s
About the Item
This exquisite Victorian pink sapphire and diamond boat ring is truly a one of a kind piece. Featuring a 0.40 carat oval cut pink sapphire at its centre, with a 0.25 carat pear cut pink sapphire set above and below. Each of the Sapphires are claw set into 18 carat yellow gold, the same metal as the basket work and band. Surrounding the central gems, is a halo of old cut diamonds, totalling 1.28 carat all set in platinum, helping their quality shine. These diamonds have been given an estimated grading of H in colour and VS in clarity. This hand crafted ring is a real statement piece.
