Victorian 1.16 Carat Diamond Cluster Ring
About the Item
Here we have a beautifully assembled diamond cluster ring dating back to the Victorian period. A single oval shaped old mine cut diamond sits proud at the centre of the face in a silver collet setting. This chunky principle stone is then framed by a circulating array of tiny rose cut diamonds around the outer edge in a single line formation before the piece is finished with open split shoulders and an otherwise plain polished band.
This piece started life as a stick pin but has been experty transformed into a more practical everyday ring by master antique jewellery re-designer and restorer, Gaetano Chiavetta.
