I designed this ring with a special way of being worn: the large oval stone comfortably rests between two fingers, making it exceptionally wearable for a ring with such a large gem. It features an oval mixed cut high quality citrine around 8.2 carats. The gem measures about 18*14*8 millimeters. The total weight of the ring is 11.64 grams. The size of the ring is EU 56, US 7 3/4. The ring is CAD designed by Italian designer and gemologist (GIA G.G.) Beatrice Barzaghi, then 3D printed, fused in gold, set and polished by hand by the best Italian goldsmiths. The distance between the vertex of the head and the curve holding the stone measures 30 mm. A spring has to be soldered inside the ring to fit the proper size and wear the ring at its best. Although the Caterina ring features a gem with a considerable size, it was carefully designed to gracefully fit into the anatomy of the left hand.
